 BAWLS Guarana is a high caffeine
soft drink made from the guarana berry. Guarana is a natural source of caffeine
found in the Amazonian rainforest.
Why is it called BAWLS?
We
decided to name the drink BAWLS because of the BOUNCE that the drink
packs!

much caffeine is in each BAWLS product?
The chart below
lists the caffeine content of each of our products as well as compares our
caffeine content to other caffeinated products.
How
much caffeine is too much?
The FDA recommends that
adults consume no more than 300mg of caffeine per day (about the content
of 3 16-oz. cans of BAWLS.). Of course, children and individuals sensitive
to caffeine should consume much less. Having too much caffeine in your
body can result in nervous issues, difficulty sleeping and a rise in
blood pressure. We encourage BAWLS drinkers to consume caffeine in moderation
and not drink multiple bottles in one sitting or drink BAWLS Guarana
as a substitute for water. Proper hydration is a crucial part of a balanced,
healthy lifestyle!
Can
I become addicted to caffeine?
There
are no studies that effectively prove that caffeine is addictive, and most
would not have any physiological difficulties in quitting.*Keep in mind,
however, that caffeine is a stimulant and withdrawing from caffeine after
a long period of heavy consumption could result in headaches and drowsiness

should not drink BAWLS Guarana?
Just
as with other high-caffeine products, we recommend that children, pregnant
women and others with health concerns or caffeine sensitivity should consume
BAWLS Guarana in moderation.
Will
caffeine dehydrate me?
Caffeine
is a diuretic, which can cause one’s body to become dehydrated. It is very important
to not drink caffeinated beverages as a substitute for water. Remember
to always balance your caffeine intake with proper hydration!
Are any of the
BAWLS Guarana products at risk of containing Benzene?
No. BAWLS Guarana
drinks do not contain ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). However,
it does contain Sodium Benzoate as a preservative. Sodium Benzoate
has been used widely as a food preservative for many years and is generally
regarded as safe (GRAS).
Are BAWLS Guarana
products gluten free?
Yes,
there is no presence of gluten (gliadin) in the caramel color or
high fructose corn syrup (sweetener) used in BAWLS Guarana. Gliadin
protein intolerance is generally associated with products derived
from wheat, oats, rye, barley and millet. BAWLS Guarana products
do not contain any of these grains.
Is BAWLS Kosher?
Yes, all BAWLS Guarana
products are Kosher. Please check the back of all BAWLS products for the
Star-K Kosher Certification.
Why are there "bumps" on
the bottle?
The "bumps" on
the bottle are there to provide a grip so that it does not slip out of
your hand when it is wet. And we think it looks cool.
