A group of dear college friends and fraternity brothers have planned this event to honor close friend, Johnny who has since passed away. In his honor, they have planned a cross-country bike ride for Johnny’s granddaughter who is diagnosed with AS (Angelman Syndrome), a rare neurogenic disorder that affects approximately 1:15,000 live births.
The bike riders have outlined a clear Roadmap to a Cure and are determined to raise money and find ways to make life easier for Briar and all who live with AS.
The group of riders and friends will bike 4200 miles from Anacortes, Washington to Bar Harbor, Maine. The planned departure for the ride is June 1, 2025. They expect to make it to Maine by July 31, 2025.
The group hopes to raise $50,000 for AS.
