QuakeCon 2019: Year of Doom is a wrap! 2000+ gamers from all over country (and world) lugged their computers to the Gaylord Texan in Dallas, TX for 3 days of nonstop gaming. These dedicated fans make QuakeCon the largest BYOC (bring your own computer) LAN in North America and BAWLS was there (as always) to provide the much needed fuel - 30,720 cans of BAWLS to be exact.
Why is it the Year of Doom, you ask? Because, DOOM ETERNALS! At this year’s E3, Bethesda announced their latest game, DOOM ETERNALS but withheld many details about the game. They opted to showcase the new game at QuakeCon. Bethesda gave attendees an exclusive chance to be the first to play the game and revealed many new details on what fans should expect to see, including its release date – November 22nd. Check out Bethesda’s keynote to see all the new features in DOOM ETERNALS.
All and all, it was another great year at QuakeCon and we can’t wait to do it again next year!
